Beaver Electrical just wrapped up a significant project at our Nanoose Bay location. Our team successfully rewound a 10 MW, 6.9 kV, 600 rpm, 12-pole Toshiba AC Generator stator for a large industrial client in BC

Notable details:

• Rotor Shaft: Ultrasonic flaw detection revealed no cracks.
• Pelton Wheel Bolts: All twelve passed ultrasonic flaw detection without issue.
• Pelton Wheel: Passed both liquid penetrant and magnetic particle tests on all surfaces.

Two weeks post-delivery, the generator is operational again.The project wouldn't be possible to execute without our shop lifting capacity, which can handle up to 44,000 KG.
